The Lord Lieutenant of Kent's Loyal Address to HM The Queen on the occasion the Diamond Jubilee

The Lord Lieutenant of Kents Loyal Address to
HM The Queen on the occasion of the Diamond Jubilee

Your Majesty,

On behalf of the loyal people of Kent, and holding the honour of being Your Majesty's Lord Lieutenant in this ancient county, it is with great gratitude that we have received Your Majesty's pledge of continuing service to the Nation in this year of your Diamond Jubilee. In recording our gratitude, we pledge in return our own continuing loyal service to Your Majesty.

We are also conscious, Your Majesty, of the inestimable support His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh has provided throughout your reign.

In presenting this Address all your subjects in Kent wish His Royal Highness continued health and well-being. We wish also the same strength for Your Majesty's continuing reign as we celebrate together the occasion of your Diamond Jubilee.

The Viscount De LIsle MBE, HM Lord-Lieutenant of Kent
