The 10th Pride in Medway awards ...


...celebrated the courageous stories of bravery, compassion and service that the people of Medway give to their community. The awards scheme is sponsored by mhs homes, Medway Council, Medway Messenger, The University of Kent, E.ON and Southern Water.



The evening was hosted by BBCs Geoff Clark who was joined by ex-BBC presenter Beverley Thompson, The Mayor and Mayoress of Medway, Leader of Medway Council Cllr Chambers, MPs and a special recorded filmed message from Chatham-born global queen of fashion, Zandra Rhodes.






The winner of this years Pride in Medway award went to marathon runner Jack Denness.
