Kent Life is reaching out its offering to the older generation this autumn with a series of events and happenings that will entice people to venture out and enjoy the crisp air and beautiful colours of autumn.

The first of the events is the Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of the Macmillan Cancer Support Charity. Dottys 1950s tea room at Kent Life will play host to the coffee morning, serving tea and coffee with biscuits for a donation to the charity. The coffee morning is on the 30 September from 10 am until 1 pm.

Grandparents go free to Kent Life on the 1 October when accompanied by their full paying grandchild (ren) to celebrate Grandparents Day. On the day there will be guided walks around the Kent Life grounds enabling guests to take a trip down memory lane and to explore the rich heritage on site; including the incredible historic houses, Britains last working coal-fired Oast house and hop pickers huts. Dottys tea room will also be offering 2FOR1 delicious cream teas. There is also 10% off the retro ranges in the gift shop.

It has been a bumper year for Apple growing this year and Kent Lifes annual Apple Weekend will be taking place on the 8 and 9 October. The popular event pays homage to the 100 plus varieties of Apple that are grown on site and the many varieties grown in the Garden of England. Watch the traditional method of making fresh apple juice using Kent Lifes own antique cider press. The apples are cut, crushed and pulped to make a delicious juice for you to buy and take home. Visitors can relax, unwind, and enjoy a variety of local ciders from around Kent and take in the traditional Morris dancers.

On top of all of this Kent Life has a 2FOR1 autumn offer for the over 60s! Over 60s admission is buy one get one free until the 21 October. In order to take advantage of this offer guests must quote Apples at the admissions desk. So, come on down and explore Kent Life this autumn.
