Saint Ronan's School in Hawkhurst held a fundraising ball and charity auction for Demelza House in the stunning 250-acre grounds of Tongswood Mansion House, the school's principal building, with a Champagne reception and dancing taking place within the mansion itself.
Local artist Marina Kim unveiled her portrait of Headmaster William Trelawny-Vernon earlier that day and donated a portrait commission for the evening's charity auction.
Hosted by Nick Maclean, the auction raised £28,000 and of particular note was the sale of a diamond necklace donated by Boodles, which raised £1,650.
