The launch of Porchlight, formerly East Kent Cyrenians, at Eastwell Manor this summer provided an opportunity for key people in the housing sector to network while reinforcing the message that Porchlight works across the county and that working to...


The evening began with an introduction from Anne Norris, chair followed by a heart-warming speech from Peter Gilroy, Kent County Council
chief executive, about his own experience of homelessness as a teenager.
Guests were then invited to enjoy an exhibition of photographs taken by Porchlight's service users, accompanied by a screening of the charity's new promotional film.
