Garden of England inspires Kent Crisps
Kent Crisps received a VIP taste test when 120 guests gathered in the stately surroundings of Quex Park at Birchington to mark their launch. Created by Quex Foods to celebrate the flavours and landscapes of Kent, the crisps are made from locally grown potatoes and hand cooked to produce four familiar county varieties: Oyster and Vinegar, Sea Salt and Biddenden Cider Vinegar, Ashmore Cheese and Onion, and Sea Salt. Anthony Curwen, managing director of Quex Park Estates, invited an enthusiastic audience of Kent Ambassadors, food producers and local dignitaries to enjoy their first taste of the range. In response, Amana Cottrell OBE, representing Produced in Kent and Visit Kent, congratulated Quex Foods on its innovation that unites the countys outstanding produce and tourism.
