The Chairman of Kent County Council, Peter Lake, and his wife Nella hosted the last in a series of receptions at Kentish Barn, Canterbury Cathedral Lodge.

The event provided an opportunity for KCC cabinet members, county members and senior county officers to meet informally with members of the community, businesses in the area, and leading partners from voluntary organisations involved in the life of east Kent.

Situated in the centre of Canterbury, the Kentish Barn offered a superb venue, overlooking lawns and gardens with stunning views of a floodlit Cathedral.
