Fireworks lit the night sky at Leeds Castle, where guests gathered to enjoy the annual Demelza May fundraising ball. Sponsored by Brake Brothers, who donated a cheque for 50,000 on the night, the Kings and Queens-themed evening was led by Demelza's James Hanaway,
dressed as a jester in the court of Henry VIII, played by Invicta
FM DJ Neil Kefford.

As well as the sponsor's generous donation, ticket sales and auction prizes raised a further 50,000 for the children's charity, with prizes ranging from a box for two at the Kylie 02 concert this July, and a trip
to release gorillas back into the wild in the Congo, the prize money for
which is being shared with the Aspinall Foundation.
