Advice if you are new to Shooting

Your first shoot can be a daunting experience, especially as every keen shot I've ever met seems to have shot before they could even walk!

Advice if you are new to Shooting

Your first shoot can be a daunting experience, especially as every keen shot Ive ever met seems to have shot before they could even walk!

However, there is help out there with shooting schools and instructors across the country to teach you the basics; youll soon be shooting like a professional. Simulated shooting is a fantastic and reasonable way of learning how a game day is run; West London Shooting School runs a great simulated day at Ashcombe Estate, offering you instruction if needed and a very realistic game shooting atmosphere.

Standing with an experienced shot on a game day can also give you insight into safety, etiquette and how to approach the unpredictable game bird.

Finally, on your first day remember to be safe and enjoy yourself, because once you hit your first bird you will be hooked for life!
