Whether your preference is for polished walnut, rustic oak or Scandinavian-style ash, real wood floors enhance interiors of every kind. We celebrate their timeless appeal...

Tread the boards
Add drama with Volcano brown oak matt parquet from the Castello range by Quick Step. Their parquets come with seven layers of matt, silk or satin varnish which makes them easy to clean and scratch resistant, available at David Payne Carpets.

Snow White
Tarkett's engineered wood floors comprise three layers topped with a layer of hard wood such as oak, walnut or beech. The Epoque collection is available in three widths and can be re-sanded four to five times. Pictured is Winter White Oak, available at Endurance Carpets.

Rose-tinted
Some of the more luxurious wood species are more affordable as a veneer flooring. This is the Sealed Rosewood Santos from the Sound range by Par-ky. It has a thick cork backing which creates a solid sound as you walk across it, available at Regency Flooring.
