Visit Kent and partners embraced the traditional English weather at their annual summer garden party. Battling both sunshine and thunderstorms, scores of guests from leading Kent attractions, accommodation partners and local authorities arrived at the stunning marquee in Godinton House in Ashford to help celebrate the start of summer season and to raise a glass to the Garden of England in all its glory. Guests were able to sample tipples from Biddenden Vineyard, and bites from Kent Crisps, Macknade Fine Foods, Solley’s Ice Cream and Godinton House’s own tea shop.

Speeches were given by Visit Kent Chairman Jonanthan Neame, Chief Executive Sandra Matthews-Marsh MBE, Destination Manager David Curtis-Brignell, and Patron Amanda Cottrell OBE, as well as Godinton House Estate Manager Nick Sandford.
