Include up to six photographs of your garden taken either last season or this year that show overviews and details

Does your friend have a pretty garden, have you visited a lovely private garden or is your childs school a potential winner? For the first time you can nominate a garden, just check firstly that you have the owner/schools permission. Be our eyes across the glorious county of Kent, the Garden of England!



RULES


Closing date for entries: 15 June 2012


Eight finalists will be selected and visited by the judging panel after 15 June 2012. All finalists gardens will be photographed by Kent Life by 2 July. Finalists will be invited to a celebratory high tea at Hadlow College on 13 September where the winners and runners up will be announced.


Kent Life regrets that photographs and sketches cannot be returned, and by submitting them you are agreeing to their use in Kent Life and its associated website and publications.

Criteria


The panel will look at the overall design, planting, maintenance, special features and personal connection to each garden entered. In addition for schools: the childrens involvement, ecological and educational processes.
