Journey of remembrance
Take part in a special service of remembrance at Tenterden station, followed by the last post, a two-minute silence and the laying of a wreath. A Terrier locomotive will make a special journey, with a train formed of the Cavell Van, Birdcage and other historic vintage stock.

Folkestone Book Festival
With curator Geraldine D’Amico at the helm once again, scale the highest peaks of the world with mountain climber Doug Scott, brave the frontline of the First World War with Kate Adie and sail the seven seas as a Tudor explorer.
