Heart of Kent organised a stylish fundraising trip aboard the Belmond British Pullman to raise money and awareness for the Kent charity
Basking in the autumn sunshine, friends and family gathered at Maidstone East Station, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Belmond British Pullman, sister train to the Venice-Simplon Orient Express. Once on board guests relaxed and admired the luxurious 1920’s Art Deco fittings and decorations while enjoying a sumptuous four-course lunch served by liveried stewards as they travelled through the Kent countryside. The glamorous excursion, organised by Heart of Kent Hospice, raised almost £26,000 to support the patients and families with life-limiting illnesses and their families in Maidstone, Tonbridge, Malling and surrounding villages the Hospice cares for.
