From ice skating to cake decorating and wandering through festive markets, there are lots of fabulous festive events in Kent this year to get you in the Christmas spirit

- World Cribs (6 to 11 Dec)

A unique exhibition of more than 100 cribs from around the globe, collected by the author and broadcaster Libby Purves. Proceeds to the Children's Society.

- Twilight Christmas (6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 23 Dec)

Take a magical journey down the rabbit hole and into the enchanting world of Alice in Wonderland at twilight and see the castle grounds illuminated. Pre-book only.

- Christmas Fayre (7 Dec)

Fun for all the family with a Santa's Grotto, children's activities, gifts, toys and festive decorations. Proceeds to the Heart of Kent Hospice.

- The Giving Tree (Until 23 Dec)

Donate a gift to local disadvantaged children and spread some festive goodwill. Visit the giant tree, grab a tag with a child's name and age, then head back with your chosen gift.

- Afternoon Tea (Until 24 Dec)

With freshly made scones, traditional cakes and home-made sandwiches, festive afternoon tea is a delight at Salomons Estate.

- Festive Feathers (Until 1 Jan 2020)

Write your Christmas dream on a feather in a room of winged wishes, where shimmering duckling eggs ready to hatch nestle under the tree. Spot the signature Leeds Castle black swan among the decorations.

- Bedgebury lights (Until 30 Dec)

The after-dark sparkling trail is illuminated, including the Tunnel of Light, and a one-mile path which winds magically through the Pinetum. Can you spot Santa and his elves along the way?
