If you're wondering what's on this weekend in Kent, we have picked five exciting events that we're sure you'll love!

- Skate at Calverley (until 5 Jan 2020)

Calverley Grounds will be transformed into the ultimate winter destination for skating, festive food and drink and music. This year sees the addition of a second rink, designed specifically for two to four-year-olds.

Calverley Grounds, Tun Wells TN1 1SJ

- Festive afternoon tea at Salomons Estate (until 24 Dec)

With freshly made scones, traditional cakes and home-made sandwiches, festive afternoon tea is a delight at Salomons Estate.

Tickets: £16.50-£20.50pp. Salomons Estate, Tun Wells TN3 0TG

- Leeds Castle Christmas Market (weekends until 15 Dec)

'Visit the Christmas Market on the Cedar Lawn overlooking the Castle to discover a splendid array of seasonal gifts, toys, festive decorations, specialist food and drink.'

Tickets included in price of castle admission. Leeds Castle, Maidstone ME17 1PL

- Rochester Christmas Market (Fri-Sun until 15 Dec)

What could be more festive than a Christmas market in the grounds of the historic Rochester Castle? With a cup of mulled wine in hand, be greeted by the scent of roasting chestnuts as you wander around the Bavarian food village and stalls selling high quality gifts and maybe sampling some Christmas treats from local producers. There will even be a vintage funfair.

Rochester Castle, Castle Hill, Rochester ME1 1SW

- Murder at the Manor (Fri 13 Dec)

Mingle with Lord Hampstead, his family and associates for pre-Christmas drinks around the fire. But someone at the party isn't all they seem. Murder is on the cards, and it's down to you to deduce who is the culprit.

Tickets: £75. 01892 870307. Penshurst Place, nr Tonbridge TN11 8DG
