  • 260g cheese
    2 eating apples
    35g butter
    salt and pepper to taste

Method
1 Peel, core and slice the apples.

2 Grate the cheese.

3 Melt the butter in a pan and gently fry the apples.

4 Add the grated cheese and seasoning and mix together.

5 Spread onto rounds of toasted Kentish huffkin or toast and place under a hot grill until the mixture is bubbling.
