It’s that time again, the Kent Life Food & Drink Awards are open for nominations
Whether you are a reader, an employee or owner of a business, make sure your nomination is cast before our closing date at noon on 17 September 2020.
We want to hear about the fantastic businesses on our doorstep who are making their mark in these testing times.
Lockdown has had a big impact on the way we source, sell and consume local food and drink. With the government initiative ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ in full swing in the food and drink sector, who do you think deserves recognition in these unprecedented times?
With our new categories highlighting these changes, make sure to nominate all those who you support.
Best Local Food/Drink Delivery Experience for those businesses who are bringing your favourite produce to your door; Best Local Food/Drink Initiative for those who have adapted during lockdown or set up earlier projects to help support the local community; the Customer Service Award recognises outstanding service during the Covid-19 crisis; while Chef of the Year celebrates those who stop at nothing to serve the best possible food despite all the challenges and restrictions they now face.

Any chef or food enthusiast will tell you the importance of fresh ingredients in their dishes, and it doesn’t come fresher than a farm shop.
