Moving with the times

House hunters in Kent will soon be cutting hours off searching for a new home by using their iPods. House Podding will enable potential buyers to view podcasts of prospective homes, which can be downloaded from iTunes and viewed on a video iPod within minutes.

The system, developed by County Real Estate, promises to slash the cost of buying and selling homes as well as providing a personal service to its customers. Senior sales director Jane Atherton says: “The great thing about this method of house buying is that it can save an awful lot of time traipsing around dozens of properties waiting to find the perfect home.
