Chevening Financial announced its new partnership with voluntary sector organisation VAWK (Voluntary Action within Kent) at a launch event held at Bentley Kent in Sevenoaks. To kick off the partnership, the team of independent financial advisors at Chevening pledged to Donate a Business Day of their time every month to VAWK and its wide range of community projects. Chevening is also coordinating a programme of initiatives designed to assist local businesses to get involved with voluntary sector projects.

Director of Chevening, David Hawes-Gatt, and ceo of VAWK Caroline Shaw outlined plans for the initiative at the Bentley reception to more than 100 guests. VAWK delivers support services to individuals and voluntary and community groups and businesses, including local Volunteer Centres in Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and Malling.
