The Cotswolds

The beautiful country garden overflowing with wild flowers, butterflies and bees was the initial attraction to a five-bed in Tewkesbury for Yvonne and her husband Graham. But the masses of potential this spacious home offered were a major selling point too.

It was out with the cold coloured walls, dated kitchen and inefficient wood burner, and in with a replacement bathroom, extended kitchen and upholstered curtains (yes, really). Not a single room was left unscathed, and the house is now a complete and cosy family home.

Take a look at some inspiring shots from the interior of this Cotswold renovation.

Honiton, Devon

Little experience and a tight budget didn’t stop determined couple Annie and Nigel Laing, from building their dream home in the picturesque village of Honiton in Devon. A quick sketch drawn by Annie provided the foundations for this eco-friendly self-build.

From a ten-acre patch of land to a spectacular East Devon home, Annie and Nigel’s abode has large windows that absorb the surrounding countryside, a rustic decor and there’s plenty of space for entertaining the whole family.

Southwold, Suffolk

In Southwold, an early 19th century Georgian building has been transformed into a colourful and modern guest house owned by Karen and Kevin Keable. The seaside escape is just a stone’s throw from the sandy beaches of Suffolk and the views are incredible.

The 1970s décor has been replaced with a trendy new kitchen, a Farrow & Ball colour scheme and an abundance of brightly coloured furniture ranging from boutique beds to industrial chairs in the dining room.

Take a peek through the keyhole of this renovated period property.
