Don’t waste a weekend when there’s so much going on in Kent. We hand pick what’s on across the county this weekend that we think you’ll love

1. Visit the festival dedicated to Charles Dickens

Broadstairs Dickens Festival, Broadstairs (17th to 23rd June)

The Broadstairs festival, celebrating its 80th birthday, has had a makeover and there will be amazing new events along with firm favourites and a real focus on fun and Victorian mayhem. Look out for costumed entertainers on The Prom and around the town. Lots of free events, some require tickets - check website for details
