Don’t waste a weekend when there’s so much going on in Kent. We hand pick what’s on across the county this weekend that we think you’ll love

1. Grease, The Orchard Theatre, Dartford (Tuesday 21st to Saturday 25th November)

It's the original high-school muscial featuring everyone's favourite characters - Sandy, Danny, the groovy T Birds, the sassy Pink Ladies and the whole gang at Rydell High - and all the unforgettable songs from the hit movie. Grease is the word! Tickets: £20 to £45, book online

2. Christmas Fair, Chiddingstone Castle, Edenbridge (Saturday 25th November)

There will be more than 60 stalls from which to choose you ideal festive gifts. Stalls will be laid out in the castle's historic rooms and marquee. Mulled wine and mince pies will add to the seasonal cheer. See our round up of top Christmas markets from around the county. Tickets: £5 for adults, book online

3. Scream & Scream Again, Maidstone Museum (until Saturday 2nd December)

This exhibition of original vintage horror film posters will be fascinating for horror fans. The period from 1950s to the 1970s was known as the golden age of British horror that garnered worldwide attention – and this exhibition will celebrate the posters that represented this exciting time in horror. Adults £4, children under 18 £3

4. The Last Curtsey: Etiquette and Elocution, the Life of a Debutante, Hall Place and Gardens (until 2018)

Step back in time to the mid 19th century and explore the life of the young wealthy girls as they were preparing to “come out” into society as women ready to have their hands taken in marriage. See the ball gowns and parties and discover the glamour of a forgotten part of British history. Entry to the exhibition is included in regular admission price

5. A Natural Christmas - Decoration Making, Down House, Downe (Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th November)

See how Victorian house staff would have celebrated Christmas. Walk into the Butler's Pantry for some festive craft making using natural foliage found in the garden and take away plenty of inspired ideas for your own decorations at home this year. Tickets: £10
